Story
Our love for Australian Shepherds started 15 years ago when we got our first boy; Chester (depicted above). Ever since then, our increasing passion for the breed has led to the creation of AussieLand Shepherds. We specialize in the responsible breeding of Australian Shepherd dogs, focusing on the health, temperament, and conformation of the breed. We are dedicated to producing high-quality AKC puppies that adhere to breed standards while also ensuring that the pups are well-socialized and cared for. We provide prospective owners with valuable information about the breed's characteristics, training needs, and overall care, helping to match families with the right puppy for their lifestyle. By prioritizing ethical breeding practices, we contribute to the preservation and improvement of the Australian Shepherd breed.
Temperament
Our pups are known for their intelligence, energy, and strong work ethic, making them excellent companions for active families and individuals. They exhibit a friendly and loyal disposition, along with a natural eagerness to please. We assessed the temperament of both the sire and dam to ensure that the puppies inherit desirable traits, such as sociability and train-ability. This careful selection process helps produce dogs that not only excel in herding and agility, but also thrive in home environments, fostering strong bonds with their owners.
Socialization
When performed correctly, ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) is believed to impact the neurological system by kicking it into action earlier than would be normally expected, the result being an increased capacity that later will help to make the difference in its performance, according to Breeding Better Dogs. Training
